VOKA BRUSSELS

VOKA chose Solufak as a partner for the upgrade of the audiovisual installation in their renovated Brussels offices. During the various intake meetings at the start of the project, the client and the interior architect defined clear goals: installation of the latest presentation and meeting technologies, ease of use, increased efficiency and stable, reliable solutions. Based on this information, we proposed the most suitable audiovisual solution. and we took care of the professional integration.  

An impressive LED wall for the meeting rooms

A 110 inch Barco LED wall  with a 1.2 pixel pitch was installed in each large meeting room.

This space allows it to be transformed into one large presentation room or to keep two separate meeting rooms. Consequently, the content shown can be identical on both screens but can also different. Mobile return screens are also provided as additional visual support for the speakers.

Sennheiser audio solutions, optimized for speech applications, guarantee the best speech intelligibility. In addition, wireless microphones offer a high degree of flexibility and ease of use.

Central reception area

Two Samsung 49" displays are installed at the bar. We chose the QMR series because of its many advantages:

  • they are non-glare panels so there is no annoying glare in the image;
  • It has a shallow depth - ideal for hanging if you have limited space;
  • the cable guide ensures that cables are easily concealed and a clean look, even if the back is visible.

These displays were mounted to the ceiling using the Vogel's Connect-it system.

With the Zebrix platform, the content of all displays can easily be updated . This way employees or visitors are informed promptly about last minute changes in meeting rooms, menus, etc.

Because of the industrial look of this room, we didn't need to provide built-in ceiling speakers.
Mask speakers from Biamp/Apart are the perfect solution for this type of space: they have a stylish design and deliver crystal clear sound.

The most suitable screen for each meeting

VOKA organizes different types of meetings. In some meetings and debates, the interaction between the participants is more important than the presentation itself. The room used for these types of meetings is equipped with sleek ProDVX table monitors. This ensures that the content is visible to each participant and visual contact between the chairperson and the participants remains possible.

Thanks to the Barco ClickShare presentation system, both VOKA employees and visitors can immediately share the content of their laptop (or other mobile device) on the screen in the meeting room. All they have to do is connect the button and they're ready to present.


Convenient control of different sources

An Extron presentation matrix ensures that a variety of sources can be controlled and displayed.
In both the large and small conference rooms, audio distribution is provided by Biamp digital audio servers.

In order to make the handling of this AV installation easier, a Crestron control system and 7-inch touch screens were provided.  A single press on this touch panel performs a whole range of pre-determined actions: activate the LED wall, put the audio on, dimm the lights, etc.

The close cooperation between all parties involved ensured an optimal integration of all materials. We are convinced that staff and visitors will enjoy these audiovisual tools.
